Overview & Applicability

This Notice explains how Solvit may use and disclose your health information and describes your rights under HIPAA. It applies to U.S.-based users of the Platform and U.S.-based clinicians who interact with it.

Our Duties

  • We are required by law to maintain the privacy of your health information and to provide you this Notice.
  • We must follow the privacy practices described in this Notice and notify you if a breach of unsecured health information occurs.

How We May Use and Disclose Health Information

  • Treatment: To share information with your chosen physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Payment: To process payments for services rendered.
  • Operations: For internal audits, security, quality improvement, and customer support.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.
  • De-Identification: We may use de-identified or aggregated data for analytics and research.

Your Rights

  • Right to access and obtain copies of your health information.
  • Right to request corrections or amendments.
  • Right to request restrictions on use or disclosure (we may not always agree).
  • Right to request confidential communications.
  • Right to receive an accounting of disclosures.
  • Right to a paper copy of this Notice.

Complaints

If you believe your rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with Solvit at privacy@solvit.ltd or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. We will not retaliate against you for filing a complaint.
